Eagles of Change is Proud to announce that we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cobet Community School and John Howard Community School in Chawama to collaborate on a groundbreaking project aimed at promoting drug prevention and skills development for young girls through netball and football.
We believe that sports have the power to bring people together and make a positive impact, and we are thrilled to be part of this transformative initiative.
The project, called “Drug prevention and skills development through netball and football,” is designed to combat drug abuse and promote mental health among young girls using netball as a powerful tool.
Through this collaboration, Eagles of Change and the two Community schools have identified four primary areas of focus, including conducting regular netball training sessions, educating girls about the dangers of drug abuse, and mental health, promoting and disseminating materials on the dangers of drug abuse at the schools, and agreeing upon any other activities that will enhance the project’s impact.
We are pleased to announce that the two Community Schools will provide a place a for conducting netball physical training sessions, and Eagles of Change will promote the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and mental health talks.
We look forward to working together with Cobet Community School, John-Howard Community School, and the Chawama Community to empower young girls and make a difference in our communities. Together, we can achieve great things!
