It is very easy for young people to fall victim to negative influences; particularly when they don’t have the knowledge or tools to help them understand the potential consequences of their decisions.
At Eagles of Change, we are committed to providing our young people with the information they need to be able to make informed decisions.
Thank you to Great North Road Academy for inviting us to come speak to their students on Thursday March 17/23, on the dangers of substance abuse. With 390 students in attendance, ranging from 8-22 years of age, it was a full house! Representatives from the police preceded our program with a few words on issues of drug abuse and cyber crime.
We hope that after our visit the other day, the students at Great North are feeling more confident and equipped to make critical decisions that could impact their lives.
